Features of FRP/GRP Honeycomb Panels

  1. LIGHTWEIGHT
    The honeycomb structure provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making GRP honeycomb panels an ideal alternative to heavier materials such as steel or solid wood.

Structure of FRP/GRP Honeycomb Panels

  1. The FRP/GRP honeycomb composite panel consists of three parts.
  2. The top layer is fiberglass sheet which is made of alkali-free glass fiber mat, reinforced polyester resin, gel and additives. The fiberglass sheet is gel coated on the surface to form a smooth appearance.
  3. Inside core material is PP honeycomb. PP honeycomb core is a new structural material processed from polypropylene according to the bionic principle of honeycomb.
  4. Back layer is also gel coated FRP sheet.
  5. Surface Finish: We supply FRP honeycomb panel with various surface finish. The FRP skin sheet can be gel coated in matt or in glossy finish. The FRP sheet can also be embossed to create an non-slip surface. Diamond and checkered surface is available at your request.
  6. Besides, the FRP skin sheet can be made in different colors, although white is the most commonly used color, black, grey, yellow and any other colors can be customized.FRP honeycomb panel structure
