Fiberglass Honeycomb Panel
TOPBOND Fiberglass Honeycomb Panels are manufactured by sandwiching an aluminum honeycomb core or PP honeycomb core between two layers of fiber reinforced plastics. They are ideal backing panels for composition of stones, ceramic tiles and glass where a flat, lightweight and rigid panel is required.
Using fiberglass skins for the outer layers creates structural skins that offer high strength, moderate tensile strength and compressive strength, dimensional stability, design flexibility and excellent electrical resistivity.
Why Choose Fiberglass Honeycomb Panels as backing materials?
Fiberglass honeycomb panel is an ideal substrate material for composition panels when lightness and strength is concerned.
LIGHTNESS, STABLE STRUCTURE AND STRONG SUPPORT
The honeycomb structure makes the fiberglass honeycomb panel is very lightweight material which can reduce the whole weight of the composited panels. Moreover the honeycomb structure is very stable which can provide structural support and make the brittle material like stone more strong.
WEATHER RESISTANCE, LONGTIME LIFESPAN
The surface sheet of fiberglass reinforced plastics is a durable material with good weather resistance. It’s anti-corrossion, wear resistant and can withstand significant impact and stress without damaging the stone panels they support.
NON-CONDUCTIVITY, THERMAL INSULATION
Fiberglass sheet is non-conductive material, the fiberglass honeycomb panel offers excellent thermal insulation, which is critical for maintaining the temperature in a building. This can help reduce energy costs, making them highly cost-effective over the long term. Additionally, they have high sound insulation, making them an excellent choice for use in buildings located in noisy areas.
